I was completely swept up in this thrilling tale of adventure, romance, and intrigue! The author’s masterful blend of historical fact and fiction had me hooked from the start. Valentina and Bianca’s journey from pirate encounters to treasure hunting to building a life on Sanibel Island was utterly captivating. I loved how the story wove together historical events, memorable characters, and a dash of romance. A truly unforgettable read!
I’m not usually a fan of historical fiction, but this book had me enthralled! The writing was vivid and immersive, and the characters were so well-developed. I loved how the story explored themes of resilience, friendship, and the power of women in a male-dominated world. The treasure hunt was exciting, and the romance was sweet. My only critique is that some parts felt a bit rushed, but overall, a fantastic read!
